Salman Khan is all set for a high-octane comeback with Battle of Galwan, and the excitement is already building. After the first look of Salman in his military avatar went viral, fans are now waiting for the film’s teaser, which industry sources suggest might release on his milestone 60th birthday, December 27, 2025.
A Bollywood Hungama source said, “December 27 is the perfect moment to unveil the teaser. It will introduce audiences to the scale, intensity, and visual grandeur of Battle of Galwan.” Ahead of the teaser, one or two posters are expected to drop on Christmas or December 26, further teasing the film. A recent BTS image featuring Salman and Chitrangada Singh in Indian Army uniforms already got fans talking.

In the film, Salman plays Colonel B Santosh Babu, the officer who led the 16 Bihar Regiment during the Galwan Valley clash of June 2020—a real-life confrontation that claimed 20 Indian soldiers’ lives. Directed by Apoorva Lakhia and adapted from India’s Most Fearless 3 by Shiv Aroor and Rahul Singh, the film promises an intense, close-combat war drama set against the backdrop of the first COVID-19 wave.
The movie also stars Chitrangada Singh alongside Salman, marking their first on-screen pairing, and features Zeyn Shaw, Heera Sohall, Abhilash Chaudhary, Ankur Bhatia, and Vipin Bhardwaj in key roles. While the release date is yet to be confirmed, Eid 2026 is being speculated.
After a quiet year at the box office following Sikandar, Salman Khan’s Battle of Galwan could be the action-packed comeback fans have been waiting for. For now, the teaser is the big moment everyone is eyeing.
