Actors Harshvardhan Rane and Sonam Bajwa have wrapped up shooting for their upcoming romantic musical drama Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat, directed by Milap Zaveri. The film, co-written by Zaveri and Mushtaq Sheikh, is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 2, 2025.
Rane took to social media on Friday to announce the completion of the shoot, sharing a carousel of images from the set. “Finished shooting for Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat yesterday,” he wrote on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the journey. While the actor didn’t divulge details about his next film, he revealed that he would begin filming for his next project in July.

The shoot concluded with a dramatic incident at the wrap party, when a bunch of helium balloons unexpectedly caught fire. Rane also shared a video from the party, capturing the moment of panic. Fortunately, no one was hurt. “Thankfully everyone was safe today early morning when the whole crew shot 5 night shifts in a row and was celebrating the #Wrap of Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat when a huge bunch of helium balloons burst 8-9 feet behind us,” he wrote. “Accidents and hiccups chose to keep distance from us as the guardian angels chose us and this film.”

The film is said to be a romantic musical, a genre Milap Zaveri hasn’t explored in recent years. Known for action-packed entertainers like Satyameva Jayate and Marjaavaan, Zaveri’s return to romance is expected to bring a fresh narrative style paired with soulful music.
With Ek Deewane ki Deewaniyat wrapped and post-production likely to begin soon, fans of romantic dramas have much to look forward to this October. The combination of Zaveri’s storytelling, Rane and Bajwa’s chemistry, and the musical elements promises a passionate tale set against a compelling emotional backdrop.
