Amazon Prime Videos dropped the much-awaited movie Kuruthi on the 11th of August. Ever since the movie came out, it has been receiving widespread appreciation and love from critics and fans alike.
Overwhelmed by the amazing response, actor Roshan Mathew took to his Instagram and penned down a heart-touching note for his fans, and gave them a glimpse into the behind-the-scenes of Kuruthi.
He wrote “Thank you all for the overwhelming amount of love. And for bothering to reach out with your thoughts and opinions. Kuruthi was always special, but you’ve made it even more precious. Moosa Khader and family (neighbors included) will always be grateful”

Kuruthi entails the story of Ibrahim played by Roshan Mathew himself who lives a life of solace in the hills, healing from the wounds of losing a loved one. However, his life takes an unexpected turn when one day an injured criminal and a police officer walk into his house, seeking refuge. Although it might seem like an action-drama in the beginning, Kuruthi caters to the complex emotions, the underlying layers of the human mind, and the wrath of prejudice and communal violence on humanity.
Apart from Kuruthi, Roshan Mathew has a pretty busy year ahead. He is gearing up for the release of his upcoming Malayalam movie Chathuram which is already in the post-production stage. In addition to that, he will also be seen in a Tamil movie titled Cobra which is nearing completion.
