The excitement around the Marvel Cinematic Universe is building once again as Avengers Endgame: Encore gears up for its theatrical release. The re-release of the 2019 blockbuster is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on September 25, 2026, ahead of the much-awaited Avengers: Doomsday.
Advance bookings for Avengers Endgame: Encore have now opened, giving Marvel fans an opportunity to secure their seats ahead of its theatrical return. The film will be screened across several premium formats, including 4DX, MX4D, SCREENX, Dolby Vision, HDR Barco and ICE, among others. Fans can book tickets through supporting ticketing platforms or directly at their nearest theatres.
The re-release comes at a time when interest in the MCU is once again gaining momentum. The upcoming Avengers: Doomsday is expected to bring together an expansive roster of characters from across the Marvel universe and beyond.
Avengers Endgame, originally released in 2019, concluded the Infinity Saga with the Avengers’ climactic confrontation against Thanos. The film brought the story of the original MCU era to an emotional conclusion and became a landmark theatrical event worldwide.
The upcoming Avengers: Doomsday will feature several major characters, including Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic (Pedro Pascal), Shang-Chi (Simu Liu), Red Guardian (David Harbour), Professor X (Patrick Stewart), Magneto (Ian McKellen) and Gambit (Channing Tatum).
One of the biggest surprises came at San Diego Comic-Con in July 2024, when Robert Downey Jr. was announced as Doctor Doom, despite his iconic Iron Man character dying in Endgame.
Avengers Endgame: Encore will reportedly include approximately four minutes of additional footage, designed to provide a narrative link to Avengers: Doomsday, which is slated to release on December 18, 2026.
