The picturesque landscapes of Greece are playing host to the final schedule of Maruthi’s much-anticipated romantic horror comedy, The Raja Saab. Latest on-set photos reveal the director and his team shooting two major songs featuring Prabhas alongside leading ladies Malavika Mohanan and Nidhhi Agerwal, with the aim to wrap up by the end of October—giving the unit ample time for post-production and promotions.
Known for its unique sand colors, crystal-clear waters, and sprawling coastlines, Greece has become the perfect canvas for Maruthi’s vision. “Apart from the spooky elements, we wanted the film to be colourful and visually engaging. Shooting romantic and duet songs in such stunning locations adds vibrancy to the narrative,” shares a source close to the unit.
Prabhas and Nidhhi Agerwal were recently spotted on set amidst sun-drenched beaches, with Maruthi sporting the film’s merchandise—a T-shirt featuring Prabhas’ photo—a subtle nod to the film’s larger-than-life charm.

The director personally scouted locations in August, ensuring that each frame would complement the energy of the songs. “The bright and breezy number is defined by its vibrancy. Stylish costumes, peppy music, and sunny backdrops make the visuals pop,” says the insider. Both Maruthi and Prabhas were equally excited to bring the project to Greece, tapping into the country’s scenic bays, coves, and iconic coastlines for a truly cinematic experience.
The Raja Saab, slated for release on January 9, 2026, follows the story of a young heir navigating royal heritage and personal rebellion, establishing unprecedented rules in his rise to power. With its blend of romance, humor, and supernatural thrills, Maruthi’s film promises to deliver both spectacle and heart—and the Greek escapade is a testament to that vision.
