The much-anticipated romantic drama Gustaakh Ishq, produced by renowned fashion designer-turned-producer Manish Malhotra, is now set to release in theatres on November 28, 2025. The film stars powerhouse performers Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles.
Originally titled Ul Jalool Ishq, the film was earlier scheduled for release on November 21. Announcing the new date, Malhotra’s production house Stage5 Production shared a post on Instagram with the caption, “Mark your calendars, ishq has a new date for y’all. #GustaakhIshq is now releasing on 28th November, 2025.” The announcement was accompanied by a striking poster featuring Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh, hinting at the intense romance at the heart of the story.

Gustaakh Ishq marks the third venture under Malhotra’s banner, Stage5 Production, which he launched in 2023. The company has already lined up two more films — Saali Mohabbat and Bun Tikki — both awaiting release.
Helmed and written by Vibhu Puri Dehalvi, Gustaakh Ishq completed its shoot in April last year. The film boasts a stellar music team, with compositions by Vishal Bhardwaj and lyrics penned by the legendary Gulzar, promising a soulful soundtrack that complements its romantic narrative. Actor Sharib Hashmi also features in a pivotal role. With an acclaimed ensemble, evocative music, and a celebrated creative team, Gustaakh Ishq is shaping up to be one of the most exciting romantic dramas to look forward to in 2025.
