Kajol who garnered a lot of appreciation for her role as Savitribai Malusare talks about why her character is relatable for every woman. The film which will premiere this Independence Day on Star Gold at 12noon showcases a very beautiful relationship between Tanaji and his wife Savitribai. Savitribai is known to be the biggest support of Tanaji and the one who stood by him always.
Talking about why every woman can relate to Savitribai, Kajol shares, “I was drawn to what Savitribai portrayed as an individual. She was strong, stood her ground, and would always give her opinion without fear. Even when it came to her husband, she was always open about her thoughts. I think these are attributes of a strong woman which each of us have and stands by.”
