Ahead of its theatrical release on July 10, the makers of Lenin have unveiled a special surprise for audiences. Superstar Jr NTR has lent his iconic voice to the film’s opening narration, adding an extra layer of grandeur to the much-awaited period action drama starring Akhil Akkineni.
The opening narration introduces viewers to Sriramapuram, the Chittoor village where the story unfolds, along with Bharatham Mitta, setting the stage for the film’s world and its central conflict. Sharing the update on social media, the makers wrote, “A world born out of conviction. Introduced by a voice that needs no introduction,” highlighting Jr NTR’s contribution to the project.
The collaboration carries emotional significance beyond the film itself. Jr NTR and Akhil Akkineni have shared a close friendship for several years. Back in 2019, ahead of the release of Mr. Majnu, Jr NTR had expressed confidence in Akhil’s potential, saying he believed the actor would become “one of the finest actors” because of his self-critical nature and dedication to improving his craft.
Reacting to Jr NTR’s gesture, Akhil took to social media to thank the actor for his support.
“Thank you, Tiger. Thanks for roaring for #Lenin. Eppatiki marichipolenantha prema ichhavu. Love you, brother,” Akhil wrote, expressing his gratitude.
Jr NTR also shares a strong professional relationship with producer S. Naga Vamsi, who is backing Lenin. The duo is set to collaborate on the highly anticipated God of War, which will be directed by Trivikram Srinivas.
With Jr NTR’s powerful narration adding to the film’s appeal, Lenin has generated significant buzz ahead of its release. The period action drama is expected to offer an immersive cinematic experience, with the opening voiceover introducing audiences to its richly crafted world before the story unfolds on the big screen.
Set to hit theatres on July 10, Lenin has become one of the most anticipated Telugu releases of the month, with fans eager to witness Akhil Akkineni’s latest outing and Jr NTR’s special contribution to the film.
