In the clips, Tara was seen dancing on stage and sharing a brief hug and cheek kiss with AP Dhillon while performing their popular track Thodi Si Daru. Attention soon shifted to Tara’s boyfriend, Veer Pahariya, who was present in the audience. Several social media users claimed that Veer appeared uncomfortable during the performance, triggering a wave of memes and commentary online.

Addressing the speculation, Tara took to Instagram to shut down what she described as misleading narratives. Sharing a video from the concert, she celebrated the night and the show’s success, writing, “Loud and proud and in it together!!! @apdhillon FAV!!! What a night!”
She addressed the online backlash head-on, stating that misleading narratives, selectively edited clips, and alleged paid PR tactics would not affect her. Emphasising that truth and love ultimately prevail, she concluded by asserting that the negativity reflects poorly on the trolls themselves, not on her.
By emphasising the phrase “in it together,” Tara appeared to put to rest rumours of any tension between her and Veer Pahariya. She also highlighted that several viral clips were selectively edited, leading to misinterpretations of the moment.
