The capital is set to dazzle once again as Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with the Fashion Design Council of India (FDCI) makes its highly anticipated return to New Delhi from 9–12 October 2025 at The Grand, Vasant Kunj. Presented by the House of Lakmē, FDCI, and Reliance Brands Limited (RBL), the upcoming edition promises an exhilarating celebration of Indian design, uniting visionary creativity, sustainability, and the future of fashion.
This season, the four-day fashion spectacle will unveil a powerful lineup of renowned designers, bold new voices, and cutting-edge collaborations, reimagining the intersection of fashion, beauty, and culture.
A Legacy Redefined
After kicking off its silver-jubilee celebrations earlier this year in Mumbai with a gala honouring its 25-year legacy, the spotlight now shifts to Delhi — the city where the platform’s story began. Since its inception in 1999, Lakmē Fashion Week x FDCI has evolved into India’s most definitive fashion platform, shaping the nation’s design identity across borders through its bi-annual showcases in Mumbai and New Delhi.
“Fashion and beauty are deeply interconnected languages of self-expression,” says Sunanda Khaitan, Vice President, Lakmē India. “With Lakmē Be-Jewel, we’re reimagining maximalism that feels luminous and effortless — making runway-inspired beauty accessible and aspirational. Collaborating with Tarun Tahiliani, whose mastery of embellishment and drape perfectly complements our vision, we’re celebrating modern adornment — contemporary, confident, and unapologetically individual.”
The Grand Finale: Lakmē Be-Jewel x Tarun Tahiliani
The House of Lakmē Grand Finale will bring the season to a spectacular close with a showcase by Tarun Tahiliani, whose signature luxury-meets-modernity aesthetic will celebrate Lakmē’s new Be-Jewel Collection. Inspired by the brilliance of gemstones, the collection captures the essence of diffused shimmer, pearl-lit radiance, ruby-sheen eyes, diamond-shine lips, and luminous tints — a tribute to India’s timeless love affair with colour and craftsmanship.
Lightweight, multidimensional, and radiant, Lakmē Be-Jewel embodies modern maximalism designed for effortless, day-to-night glamour — reflecting the brand’s commitment to empowering women through beauty and self-expression.
The Powerhouses Behind Indian Fashion
With over 400 members, the Fashion Design Council of India continues to serve as the country’s most influential fashion body, championing the “Made in India” ethos through craft preservation, designer mentorship, and business empowerment.
“At FDCI, our mission remains clear — to nurture creativity while advancing the business of fashion,” shares Sunil Sethi, Chairman, FDCI. “This season reflects the diversity and innovation of Indian design, inspiring meaningful opportunities for the industry’s future.”
Complementing this vision, Reliance Brands Limited brings its signature innovation-driven approach. “We’re thrilled to bring back the Delhi edition, showcasing India’s most visionary design talent,” says Jaspreet Chandok, Group Vice President, RBL. “This season celebrates creativity and sustainability, while redefining the contemporary fashion experience for audiences globally.”
