While the entertainment industry was on hiatus for a couple of months, Ekta Kapoor who is righteously called the content czarina had been working on multiple projects even in this lockdown. With a knack of understanding the demand of the consumers, Ekta has released one movie and one web show during this time on streaming platforms.
Ekta was ready to call- “lights, camera, action” immediately after the lockdown was eased in accordance with all necessary norms and precautions. The content creator recently dropped the trailer of her much-awaited web show “Broken but Beautiful” that has raised fans’ anticipation. Last Friday, she released season 3 of another super hit show “Dil Hi Toh Hai” and the movie “Dolly Kitty Aur Woh Chamakte Sitare” over streaming platforms.
Sources close to industry shared, “Ekta is constantly busy in figuring out new content that suits the audiences. She is making a splash on all the platforms, especially OTT – and having multiple releases across all formats, be it movies or shows even with limited resources in this lockdown.”
Having said that, on one hand where producers are struggling to find projects, Ekta Kapoor is rolling out projects and fresh content. Seeing a remarkable growth in content consumption, Ekta is tapping the right chords of the audiences and providing them custom made content. Be it movies, web shows, or TV serials- she is in a complete work-mode. On the work front, Ekta is unstoppable and, an inspiration to many.
