The buzz around Sony-Live’s new venture titled Chutzpah is has grown to a whole new level when they dropped the trailer recently.
With a fresh take on social media and the influence of the internet on our lives, Chutzpah is here to take you on a rollercoaster ride full of fun, entertainment, and laughs, along with discussing an important social issue.
The USP of ‘Chutzpah’ is its never-heard-before concept in the digital world, as it talks about the duality that exists in the real and social world. One may have a different approach or thought process towards people in person but they project a completely different world to others on social media.
The show highlights the good and bad of the web world and the anonymity it provides, with people getting to know their type and finding empathy at the same time, also absolving them some sense of responsibility. The show brings to fore what today’s generation lives every waking moment of life with the internet!
Featuring Varun Sharma, Manjot Singh, Gautam Mehra, Tanya Maniktala, Elnaaz Norouzi, and Kshitij Chauhan, the show is the digital debut of Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Outsider.
As the trailer dropped, the actors and makers of the show shared their thoughts on the same.
“The show is very close to me for a lot of reasons. Firstly, I am making my OTT debut with SonyLIV, and also the fact that I have had a long association with Mrighdeep Lamba and Dinesh Vijan. Hence collaborating with them again was like a homecoming. The story is very relatable and we thoroughly enjoyed the process of shooting the series.” said Varun Sharma.
Manjot Singh also added his views on the same and stated “The USP of ‘Chutzpah’ lies in the fact that it showcases real-world and relatable characters. I think such an interesting concept has not been explored in the digital world yet. The entire process of shooting the show was unique and memorable.”
