This achievement makes it the fastest Indian film to ever reach such a milestone, according to data from industry-tracking portal Sacnilk.
On its opening day, Pushpa 2 garnered an astounding Rs 294 crore in global gross earnings, setting a new benchmark for the biggest opening day ever in Indian cinema. Domestically, the film shattered records with a massive Rs 174.9 crore nett on Day 1 and added another Rs 90.10 crore nett on Day 2, bringing the total domestic collection to a jaw-dropping Rs 265 crore in just 48 hours.
Breaking down the numbers further, the Hindi-dubbed version of the film emerged as the top performer, contributing a stellar Rs 125 crore nett. The Telugu version followed closely with Rs 118.03 crore nett. The Tamil version of Pushpa 2 also contributed Rs 13.2 crore nett, while the Kannada version earned Rs 1.6 crore nett, and the Malayalam version added Rs 6.85 crore nett to the overall collection.
