Veteran Actor-Comedian Jagdeep Passes Away At The Age Of 81

Veteran actor and comedian Syed Ishtiaq Ahmed Jafri, aka Jagdeep, has died due to age-related issues at the age of 81. A close friend of his family producer Mehmood Ali told PTI, “He passed away at 8.30 pm at his residence in Bandra. He was not keeping well due to age-related issues.”

The veteran actor began his career as a child actor at the age of nine and gradually gained an admiration for his distinguished, respected, famous expressions. Jagdeep had starred several films like ‘Ab Dilli Door Nahin’, ‘Aar Paar’, ‘Do Bigha Zamin’, ‘Purana Mandir’, ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ and was last seen in ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’.

In his entire career, he had worked in more than 400 blockbuster films. He was well known for his role of “Soorma Bhopali” from Sholey.
