The upcoming Telugu period drama Ranabaali, starring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna, continues to generate immense excitement among movie lovers. The film has emerged as one of the most eagerly awaited projects in Tollywood, especially as it marks the popular on-screen pair’s first release following their marriage.
As production moves ahead at a steady pace, the makers recently announced a major milestone. Ranabaali has successfully completed 100 days of shooting, and to celebrate the occasion, the team shared behind-the-scenes photographs from the sets.
The latest shooting schedule took place in Gandikota, located in Kadapa district and popularly referred to as the “Grand Canyon of India.” The cast and crew spent a week filming at the picturesque location, where several emotional sequences featuring Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna were shot.
The newly released BTS images capture the breathtaking beauty of Gandikota, with the landscape bathed in deep crimson hues as the sun sets behind the rugged cliffs. The dramatic backdrop adds to the grandeur and visual appeal of the film’s period setting.
According to the makers, nearly 90 percent of the film has now been completed, bringing the project closer to its final stages of production.
Set in the 19th century, Ranabaali draws inspiration from real historical incidents that unfolded during British rule between 1854 and 1878. With its blend of history, drama and powerful storytelling, the film is gearing up for a grand worldwide theatrical release on September 11.
