John Abraham’s Force 3 takes off, fans await explosive action comeback

The high-octane Force franchise is back in action, and its third instalment is already shaping up to be bigger, grittier and more intense. With filming currently underway, Force 3 brings together a compelling mix of returning legacy and fresh energy, promising a power-packed cinematic experience.

Headlined by John Abraham, the film also stars Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala in pivotal roles. Directed by Bhav Dhulia, the action-thriller continues the franchise’s legacy of adrenaline-fuelled storytelling.

Produced by JA Entertainment and Karolina Corporation, Force 3 sees John Abraham reprise his iconic role as ACP Yashvardhan Singh. Harshvardhan Rane joins the franchise in a key role that is being kept under wraps, adding an element of intrigue, while Tanya Maniktala steps in as the female lead.

Opening up about the film, John Abraham shared his deep-rooted connection with the franchise, stating that Force has always held a special place for him due to its grit and strong identity. He expressed excitement about taking the legacy forward and introducing Harshvardhan Rane as an action hero, praising his energy and presence.

Producer Sheel Kumar highlighted the long-standing association with John and described Force 3 as a project built on trust and shared creative vision. He noted that returning to the franchise feels both familiar and special.

Harshvardhan Rane, who steps into the intense action space with this film, called it an honour to be part of a franchise like Force. He also expressed admiration for John Abraham’s journey and shared his enthusiasm about working under Bhav Dhulia’s vision.

Tanya Maniktala described joining the franchise as a significant milestone, expressing excitement about sharing screen space with actors known for their strong presence and charm. She also hinted at having a meaningful role within the story.

For director Bhav Dhulia, Force 3 is deeply personal. Having assisted late filmmaker Nishikant Kamat on the original Force, he described the film as a homecoming filled with history and emotion. He added that he instantly connected with the script and is eager to bring it to life.

The film is produced by Sheel Kumar, Shahbaz Alam, John Abraham, Sandeep Leyzell and Minnakshi Das. It is written by Simaab Hashmi, with music composed by Ravi Basrur and lyrics by Irshad Kamil.

Slated for a theatrical release on March 19, 2027, Force 3 is expected to deliver a gripping blend of action, emotion and scale, taking the franchise to new heights.
