‘Welcome To The Jungle’: Akshay Kumar Kicks Off 15-Day Shoot in November

After the success of Jolly LLB 3, Akshay Kumar is gearing up for a busy 2026 with a lineup of films that span comedy, thriller, and horror. Leading the pack is Welcome To The Jungle, the third installment of the beloved Welcome franchise, which promises the chaos, humor, and larger-than-life antics the series is known for.

Directed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, Welcome To The Jungle features a star-studded ensemble including Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, and Jacqueline Fernandez. The film is set for a mid-2026 theatrical release, with a key 15-day shooting schedule planned for November. Reports suggest that most of the film has already been shot, with the remaining sequences expected to be completed in early 2026. Fans can anticipate a high-energy, laughter-filled entertainer that continues the trademark madness of the Welcome series.

Meanwhile, Akshay is also set to explore other genres next year. He reunites with director Priyadarshan for Bhooth Bangla, a horror-comedy marking their first collaboration in 14 years. Following that, the duo will collaborate again for Haiwaan, a thriller and Hindi remake of the Malayalam hit Oppam, which will see Akshay sharing screen space with Saif Ali Khan after nearly two decades.

With these diverse projects, Akshay Kumar is set to dominate multiple genres in 2026, from riotous comedy to suspense-driven thrillers, reaffirming his versatility and continued appeal among audiences.
