Day 3 of Lakmē Fashion Week in partnership with FDCI opened with an exquisite showcase by Arshna Raj’s label, Stoïque. Known for its innovative approach to design, the brand unveiled its latest collection, “Echo,” which explored the interplay of force, time, and repetition in shaping fabrics and silhouettes.
Arshna Raj, an alumnus of INIFD, Indore, founded Stoïque in the same city, bringing a fresh perspective to contemporary fashion. With “Echo,” she drew inspiration from the fluidity of water, seamlessly balancing control and release, precision and organic evolution. The collection featured crushed fabrics, meticulously shaped using only pressure and heat, showcasing an avant-garde take on sustainable fashion.
The show opened with popular digital content creator Prableen Kaur Bhomrah, who set the tone in a flowing, all-white layered creation that epitomized ethereal movement and grace. The collection transitioned between structured and fluid silhouettes, embodying a duality that resonated throughout the presentation.
A standout feature of the “Echo” collection was its use of upcycled textiles, transformed into delicate floral motifs that symbolized renewal and sustainability. Intricate embroidered blooms further enhanced the layered ensembles, creating a striking visual contrast between delicate craftsmanship and bold fashion statements.
The colour palette of the collection was thoughtfully curated, blending deep immersive hues with playful, lighter tones. This fusion reflected the adaptability and transformative nature of water, staying true to Arshna’s inspiration. Each ensemble within the collection resonated with a sense of movement, evolution, and refined elegance.
Stoïque’s “Echo” collection went beyond fashion; it was an artistic expression of transformation, renewal, and sustainability. With its pioneering approach to textile manipulation and design philosophy, the brand made a lasting impression at Lakmē Fashion Week, solidifying its place as a force of innovation in contemporary fashion.
