The much-talked-about film Jatadhara, starring Sudheer Babu and Sonakshi Sinha, has locked its release date. The epic drama will arrive in cinemas on 7th November 2025, in both Hindi and Telugu.
Ever since the character posters and teaser were unveiled by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, the film has been the subject of huge buzz. Now, the makers have taken the excitement one step higher with a motion poster that gives audiences a first real taste of the world of Jatadhara.
The motion poster is packed with powerful visuals, mystical chants, and striking imagery of light and darkness. Alongside Sudheer and Sonakshi, the film features a strong ensemble cast including Divya Khossla, Shilpa Shirodkar, Indira Krishna, Ravi Prakash, Naveen Neni, Rohit Pathak, Jhansi, Rajeev Kanakala, and Subhalekha Sudhakar. From the looks of it, Jatadhara promises to be a grand battle of good versus evil.
Talking about the film, Umesh Kumar Bansal, CBO of Zee Studios, said that Jatadhara is not just a movie but “an experience that redefines scale and storytelling.” Prerna Arora, who is presenting and producing the film, called it a story rooted in Indian culture but mounted on a global scale. She added that the film is designed to be “emotionally powerful and visually unforgettable.”
Directors Abhishek Jaiswal and Venkat Kalyan revealed that Jatadhara is inspired by a folk tale that explores the collision between darkness and divine power, weaving together themes of faith, fear, and destiny.
The film is presented by Zee Studios and Prerna Arora, and produced by Umesh Kumar Bansal, Shivin Narang, Aruna Agarwal, Prerna Arora, Shilpa Singhal, and Nikhil Nanda. It is co-produced by Akshay Kejriwal and Kussum Arora, with Divya Vijay as Creative Producer and Bhavini Goswami as Supervising Producer. The music is backed by Zee Music Co.
With its massive scale, mythological touch, and powerful cast, Jatadhara is shaping up to be one of the biggest releases of 2025.
