Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Maa Inti Bangaram Begins Shooting Soon — Here’s What We Know

Samantha Ruth Prabhu has given her fans something to look forward to. The celebrated actress, who has been making headlines recently for her personal life, has revealed an exciting update about her upcoming Telugu film, Maa Inti Bangaram. In a recent interaction during a Q&A session on social media, Samantha confirmed that shooting for the action thriller is set to begin this month.

When a fan asked about her next Telugu project, Samantha shared enthusiastically, “Finally, I have an answer to this question. Maa Inti Bangaram is finally starting this month.” Her announcement was met with excitement from fans, many of whom expressed their eagerness to see her return to the sets after a considerable break.

A Project Years in the Making

Maa Inti Bangaram was first announced in April 2024, coinciding with Samantha’s birthday. However, the project faced delays due to her packed schedule. Initially intended to be directed by a debutant, the film eventually found its helm in filmmaker Nandini Reddy, marking the actress-director duo’s third collaboration after Jabardasth (2013) and Oh Baby (2019). In addition to starring in the film, Samantha is also producing it, underscoring her growing role behind the camera.

From Acting to Producing

This year, Samantha ventured into production with her debut project Shubham, a horror-comedy that went on to become a sleeper hit at the box office. The success of the film encouraged her to continue exploring production. “I started Tralala Moving Pictures to support content-driven films and fresh talent,” Samantha said. “With my experience in the industry, I believe I can contribute to creating rooted stories that truly resonate with audiences.”

Maa Inti Bangaram promises to be a significant milestone in Samantha’s career — both as an actress and as a producer. With its blend of action and drama, and backed by her commitment to meaningful storytelling, the film is poised to be an eagerly awaited addition to Telugu cinema.
