Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Maa Inti Bangaaram Set for Summer 2026 Release Worldwide

Samantha Ruth Prabhu is stepping back into theatres this summer -not just as a leading lady, but as a producer steering her second venture under her home banner. Maa Inti Bangaaram is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release on May 15, 2026, marking another significant milestone in her expanding creative portfolio.

Sharing the announcement on social media, Samantha unveiled a fresh poster from the film and confirmed the global release plans. The project sees her balancing dual responsibilities-headlining the film while also backing it through her production house.

A Middle-Class Bride With a Secret Life

Directed by Nandini Reddy, the film presents Samantha in a layered role. She plays a conventional middle-class newlywed navigating domestic life- but with an unexpected twist. Beneath the surface, her character leads a parallel life as a covert agent, promising a blend of humour, emotion and action.

The concept teaser, released earlier this year, hinted at a quirky tone with genre-bending elements, positioning the film as a commercial entertainer with a strong character-driven arc.

Backed by a Strong Creative Team

Maa Inti Bangaaram has been created by Raj Nidimoru and is produced under Samantha’s banner, Tralala Moving Pictures, which she launched in December 2023. The film also marks the Telugu cinema debut of Gulshan Devaiah, adding an interesting cross-industry dynamic to the cast.

For Samantha, this venture follows her maiden production Subham, which released last year and marked her official foray into filmmaking beyond acting.

Expanding Horizons

Beyond the big screen, Samantha is also part of the upcoming Netflix fantasy-action series Rakt Bramhand- The Bloody Kingdom, further expanding her presence across formats and genres.

With Maa Inti Bangaaram, Samantha appears to be strengthening her footing as both performer and producer- combining mainstream appeal with fresh storytelling choices as she builds her banner’s identity in the Telugu film industry.
