Salman Khan Urges Fans to Support Young Talent, Praises Jonas Conner

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan recently shared a heartfelt message for 16-year-old American singer-songwriter Jonas Conner, praising the teen for channeling his struggles into music. Sharing a candid photo of Jonas with his guitar outdoors, Salman took to X to say, “Never have I seen a 15-year-old turn his pain into something so beautiful. God bless you #JonasConner.”

Salman, who has been listening to Jonas’ tracks on repeat—including Father in a Bible, Peace with Pain, and Oh Appalachia—urged fans to support young artists rather than exploit them. He wrote, “If you don’t support such kids, then what are you even doing? Brothers and sisters, this is in English. We have many here too. Encourage them, don’t exploit them.” His words underline the importance of encouragement over exploitation in nurturing young talent.

Hailing from Tennessee, Jonas Conner blends country and folk in his music. Despite being diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 12, he continued writing and sharing songs online. His independent single Father in a Bible became an instant success, crossing two million streams within a month. Today, Jonas has amassed over three million streams on Spotify and boasts a social media fanbase of more than 700,000.

On the professional front, Salman is busy shooting for Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia. Recently, he shared a behind-the-scenes picture from the climax shoot, showcasing his rugged new look and building anticipation for the film.

Through his message for Jonas Conner, Salman Khan reminds fans that talent deserves encouragement and support, proving that inspiration knows no age or boundaries.
