After the huge success of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, Ranveer Singh is switching gears and moving into action and sci-fi territory. His next film, Dhurandhar, directed by Aditya Dhar, is almost ready and is expected to release on December 5, 2025.
According to sources, Dhurandhar is in its final stage of filming, with Ranveer wrapping up his parts by early October. The team aims to finish the entire shoot by October 15. The post-production work is progressing fast, and the marketing campaign is set to kick off around Diwali. This film will showcase Ranveer in a completely different avatar – full of action and intense drama, far from his recent romantic roles.
But that’s just the beginning. Right after Dhurandhar, Ranveer is already preparing for Don 3, the next installment of the popular Don series. He will start shooting early next year, with big action sequences planned around the world, especially in Europe. Farhan Akhtar, who is directing, is reportedly aiming to give the movie a style similar to James Bond, making it the most expensive Don movie so far.
Ranveer isn’t stopping there. He is also set to star in a zombie movie directed by Jai Mehta, which will start filming in late 2026. On top of that, he is in talks for a time-travel film with Maddock Films, to be directed by Amit Ravindranath Sharma.
From romantic roles to intense action, zombies, and time travel, Ranveer Singh is proving that he is not afraid to experiment. With multiple exciting projects lined up, his fans can expect to see him in very different avatars over the next couple of years. It looks like Ranveer is all set to take his career to new heights.
