Punit Malhotra Celebrates And Revisit Memories Of Magical Film I Hate Love Storys

Punit Malhotra feels nostalgic as he marks 11 successful years of the romantic-musical saga “I hate love story”.

He took to his Instagram story and shared multiple behind-the-scenes pictures from the film. Song “Jab mila tu” beautifully played in the background of the video.

Released on July 2, 2010, the movie starred Imran Khan and Sonam K Ahuja in the lead. It was an impressive hit in Sonam Kapoor’s acting career.

A fresh energetic pair on screen, Sonam and Imran’s chemistry in this film was appreciated and praised by many at the time of the release of this Rom-Com.

Produced by Dharma Productions, and under the directorship of Punit Malhotra, this film also had a contribution of soulful tracks including Sadka, Bin Tere, and Bahara.

Songs from the movie were all-time hits and the audience can still feel the same pleasure listening to them.

Shreya Ghoshal who sung the melodious song Bahara, won an award for best female playback singer in the Star Screen Awards in 2011.

The entire movie was relatively shot in New Zealand and every moment has captured pretty and beautiful locations of Queenstown.
