Prabhas is all set to charm audiences once again with his upcoming horror-comedy, The Raja Saab, touted as India’s biggest in the genre. Advance bookings have already kicked off in North America, giving the first glimpse of how the film might fare at the box office.
Directed by Maruthi, The Raja Saab has grossed over USD 562K in pre-bookings by selling around 20,000 tickets across more than 1,180 shows at 419 locations in the US. Overall advance sales reached USD 590K on premiere day. While initial numbers were modest, the film has picked up solid momentum, with a notable jump in pre-sales from Sunday to Monday. The next few days are expected to see a continued surge leading up to the grand premiere.
The film will hit screens alongside Thalapathy Vijay’s Jana Nayagan and Chiranjeevi’s Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu, creating an exciting Sankranti showdown. Currently, the Prabhas starrer is slightly trailing behind Vijay’s film in advance bookings, despite having more shows. Pre-bookings in its home state of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh are about to begin, and audiences will soon see how the film performs on familiar turf.
Set to release on January 9, 2026, The Raja Saab stars an ensemble including Malavika Mohanan, Nidhhi Agerwal, Riddhi Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, and Boman Irani, promising a mix of thrills, laughs, and star power. Beyond this release, Prabhas has another film, Fauzi, lined up later this year, keeping fans eagerly anticipating more from the Baahubali star.
With the festive season around the corner and Sankranti excitement in full swing, The Raja Saab seems poised to entertain audiences with its unique blend of horror and comedy.
