Paresh Rawal Headlines Bold Historical Drama ‘The Taj Story’

Leading The Taj Story, Paresh Rawal brings to life a bold exploration of history, truth, and the stories often left untold. Hitting theaters nationwide on October 31, 2025, the film poses a powerful question: “Even after 79 years of Independence, are we still shackled by intellectual tyranny?”

The film showcases an impressive lineup of actors, with Zakir Hussain, Amruta Khanvilkar, Sneha Wagh, and Namit Das among the key cast members. The recently released teaser, unveiled just ahead of Independence Day, offers a glimpse of the film’s gripping mix of drama, social commentary, and intense performances designed to spark discussion.

At its heart, The Taj Story examines one of history’s most debated mysteries: who actually built the Taj Mahal? While conventional history attributes it to Emperor Shah Jahan, the film explores alternative perspectives, intertwining themes of freedom, identity, and the courage to question long-held beliefs.

Helmed by writer-director Tushar Amrish Goel, the film goes beyond a traditional historical drama—it sparks a cinematic dialogue. Viewers are invited to question who shapes history, how stories are told, and the courage it takes to challenge established narratives.

Paresh Rawal’s magnetic presence, combined with a narrative rich in drama and debate, positions The Taj Story as a must-watch film this year.
