Nick Jonas has once again charmed fans- this time with a subtle yet meaningful gesture during promotions for Priyanka Chopra’s upcoming film The Bluff. In a recent video shared online, the singer is seen crafting a cocktail inspired by Priyanka’s character from the film. However, it wasn’t just the drink that caught attention.
Observant fans quickly noticed that Nick appeared to be wearing Priyanka’s mangalsutra, styled as a bracelet around his wrist. The symbolic accessory sparked a wave of admiration on social media, with many users affectionately calling him a “green forest”- a term used to describe emotionally secure and supportive partners.
A Sweet Promotional Moment
The light-hearted video was released ahead of The Bluff’s streaming debut on Prime Video on February 25. While Nick spoke about the film and playfully mixed the themed cocktail, desi fans zeroed in on the traditional jewellery, interpreting it as a quiet display of solidarity and pride in his wife’s cultural roots.
About The Bluff
Directed by Frank E. Flowers, The Bluff recently had its world premiere at the TCL Chinese Theatre in Los Angeles. Set in the 19th-century Caribbean, the film features Priyanka as a former pirate whose past resurfaces, forcing her into a high-stakes battle to protect her family.
The narrative intensifies when a feared pirate, portrayed by Karl Urban, places a bounty on her head. The cast also includes Safia Oakley-Green, Vedanten Naidoo and Temuera Morrison.
Backed by AGBO Studios- the production banner of the Russo Brothers — in collaboration with Amazon MGM Studios, the project marks Priyanka’s continued partnership with the studio following her espionage thriller series Citadel in 2023.
What’s Next for the Couple
Priyanka Chopra is also gearing up for SS Rajamouli’s ambitious visual epic Varanasi, co-starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran. Meanwhile, Nick Jonas will be seen in John Carney’s upcoming musical comedy Power Ballad, alongside Paul Rudd and Jack Reynor.
With a simple accessory choice, Nick managed to turn a promotional appearance into a viral moment — blending romance, cultural symbolism and star power in one frame.
