Music Composer Palash Muchhal Speaks Out Amid Wedding Cancellation Rumors

Music composer Palash Muchhal has finally spoken out following the announcement that his wedding with Indian cricket star Smriti Mandhana has been called off. After weeks of speculation and rampant rumors online, Palash took to Instagram to share a heartfelt statement, addressing both the breakup and the false cheating allegations circulating on social media.

I’ve made the choice to move on and step away from my personal relationship. It’s been painful to see baseless speculation impact something so important to me,” Palash shared. “This is the hardest time I’ve faced, but I will deal with it with grace and stay grounded in my beliefs.”

Palash also appealed to fans and the public to act responsibly when sharing unverified information. “I sincerely hope we, as a society, take a moment before passing judgment based on unconfirmed gossip, whose origins are often unknown. Words can hurt in ways we may never realize,” he warned. He added that his team would pursue strict legal action against anyone spreading false or defamatory content.

The composer’s statement comes after the couple had been forced to withdraw from social media due to health issues in both families and weeks of rampant speculation. Smriti Mandhana had earlier confirmed the cancellation of the wedding, which was originally scheduled for November 23, 2025, in Sangli, Maharashtra.

Palash’s note not only addresses the rumors but also highlights his resolve to step back and focus on moving forward, asking for privacy and understanding during this challenging time.
