Kiara Advani Learns Ghaziabadi Lingo For Indoo Ki Jawani

Indoo ki Jawani is all set to hit the theatres on 11 December. In this film, Kiara portrays a girl from Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, in the Abir Sengupta directorial, which revolves around her misadventures with dating apps.

Since the city has a certain local lingo, the actress had to learn the different local lingo of Ghaziabad for Indoo in Jawani.

“Abir knew exactly how he wanted Indoo to walk and talk. Since he has also written the dialogues of the film it made the process easier. We spent a couple of months before commencing shoot prepping for the character and creating a fun and quirky Indoo, her style of talking and dialogue delivery is distinct and easily identifiable,” says Kiara.

Indoo Ki Jawani, releases on 11th December directed by Abir Sengupta, is produced by Bhushan Kumar, Divya Khosla Kumar, Krishan Kumar (T-Series), Monisha Advani, Madhu Bhojwani, Nikkhil Advani (Emmay Entertainment) & Niranjan Iyengar, Ryan Stephens (Electric Apples Entertainment).

Abir, who makes his directorial debut with the film is well-versed with the language as he was a resident of the city. He used to teach Kiara during their reading sessions and she was happy to learn from him.

Kiara was recently seen in the horror comedy “Laxmii”. Now, she is currently shooting for Raj Mehta directorial “Jug Jugg Jeeyo”, which also casts Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor and YouTube sensation Prajakta Koli.
