John Abraham Urges for Change: “Boys Need Proper Upbringing”

John Abraham has always been candid when addressing societal issues, and his recent comments on the need for improved male upbringing highlight his commitment to social change.

In a recent interview on Radio Nasha, the actor voiced his concerns about the alarming Kolkata medical college rape-murder case, urging boys to “behave” and emphasizing the role of parental guidance in shaping responsible individuals. John stressed, “My message to boys is simple—behave properly. I expect better upbringing from parents. Girls have nothing to be told because they are not at fault. Parents need to instill good behavior in boys. Let’s empower our girls.”

Previously, in a podcast with Ranveer Allahabadia, John addressed the broader issue of safety for women, children, and animals in India. He expressed disappointment over the current state of affairs and stressed the need for men to understand and respect women. John asserted, “It is crucial for Indian men to learn how to treat women properly. Every woman deserves to have a man act as her protector.”

On the professional front, John Abraham was last seen in the crime action-thriller Vedaa, directed by Nikhil Advani, which features Sharvari and Abhishek Banerjee.  Looking ahead, John will star in The Diplomat, directed by Shivam Nair, he will also be featured in Arun Gopalan’s Tehran, with co-stars Manushi Chhillar and Neeru Bajwa. Both projects are produced by John’s own production company, John Abraham Entertainment.
