Indian singer-songwriter Jasleen Royal is all set to share the stage with Coldplay during their highly anticipated India leg of the Music of the Spheres World Tour. Announced on Instagram, the 33-year-old singer expressed her excitement and gratitude, calling it a dream come true. “Dreams do come true, and it’s definitely going to be a sky full of stars!” she wrote, referencing one of Coldplay’s iconic songs.
Jasleen revealed that she will perform an exciting lineup of songs during her opening act, including fan favorites Kho Gaye Hum Kahan, Ranjha, Assi Sajna, and Love You Zindagi. She teased her fans with a question, asking if any of their favorites were missing, leaving room for two surprise additions to her setlist.
Coldplay Returns to India
Coldplay’s return to India comes nine years after their unforgettable performance at the Global Citizen Festival in Mumbai in 2016. This time, the British band, led by Chris Martin, will perform at Navi Mumbai’s DY Patil Sports Stadium on January 18, 19, and 21, followed by shows in Ahmedabad on January 25 and 26 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The concerts are part of Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres World Tour, which kicked off at Costa Rica’s National Stadium on March 18, 2022. The tour is set to conclude at London’s iconic Wembley Stadium on September 8, 2025.
