Get ready for another dose of laughter and chaos—Bollywood’s most beloved comedy franchise, Golmaal, is making a comeback! Actor Ajay Devgn is all set to reunite with director Rohit Shetty for the much-awaited Golmaal 5, as per a report by Pinkvilla.
The film is expected to go on floors in 2026, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (2006), the movie that kickstarted this wildly popular comedy series. With its signature slapstick humour and an ensemble cast that has grown over the years, Golmaal has become synonymous with fun-filled family entertainment in India.
A Long-Awaited Sequel
Currently, Rohit Shetty is busy filming a biopic based on the life of former Mumbai police commissioner Rakesh Maria. The film stars John Abraham and is expected to wrap up by September 2025. Following that, Shetty is set to begin pre-production work for Golmaal 5 in early 2026.
This will mark another exciting collaboration between Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty, a duo known for delivering blockbusters across genres—be it action-packed films like the Singham series or rib-tickling comedies like Golmaal.

The Golmaal franchise has so far delivered four successful installments: Golmaal: Fun Unlimited (2006), Golmaal Returns (2008), Golmaal 3 (2010), Golmaal Again (2017)
