Ibrahim Ali Khan, the son of Bollywood star Saif Ali Khan, has finally broken his silence after being officially welcomed into the film industry by producer-director Karan Johar. While Johar took to social media to announce Ibrahim’s much-anticipated debut, he refrained from revealing the name or details of the project. However, reports suggest that Ibrahim will be making his entry into Bollywood with Sarzameen, a film helmed by Boman Irani’s son, Kayoze Irani.
Shortly after Karan Johar’s announcement, Ibrahim took to Instagram to share his appreciation for the overwhelming support he received from fans and industry well-wishers. The young star posted a series of Instagram stories thanking those who extended their congratulations. In one of his stories, Ibrahim wrote, “2025, I’m coming for you… slowly but surely, you’re mine,” adding a heartfelt nod to his father, Saif Ali Khan, with a heart emoji.
Though Ibrahim has kept a low profile in the industry so far, his Bollywood debut has been the subject of speculation for quite some time. He has previously worked behind the scenes as an assistant director on Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani, starring Alia Bhatt and Ranveer Singh, which was also backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions. His decision to first understand the craft behind the camera before stepping into the limelight has drawn praise from fans and industry insiders alike.
While neither Karan Johar nor Ibrahim has officially confirmed Sarzameen as his debut film, the buzz around the project continues to grow. Directed by Kayoze Irani, the film is expected to be a compelling story featuring an ensemble cast, including the Kajol.
