The countdown for Shoojit Sircar’s slice-of-life dramedy is the story of Mirza (Amitabh Bachchan) and Baankey (Ayushmann Khurrana ), Gulabo Sitabo release has started.
The hugely awaited big-ticket entertainer ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ will be one of the first Bollywood projects to premiere with approximately 15 language subtitles- Arabic, Russian, Polish, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, Indonesian, Malay, Korean, Greek, Hebrew, Turkish along with English upon its release.
This film penned by Juhi Chaturvedi. Big B as Mirza, landlord of an old ruinous unmaintained haveli Fatima Mahal in the central part of Lucknow, while Ayushmann as the pawky, intelligent tenant, Baankey. This film is a unique slice-of-life dramedy where Mirza and Baankey, much like Tom and Jerry are unique and unmatched, friend and foe, naughty and smart, little and large – all things required to produce chaos.
Gulabo Sitabo, slice-of-life dramedy, produced by Ronnie Lahiri and Sheel Kumar, will premiere exclusively on Amazon Prime Video on June 12, 2020, in more than 200 countries and territories.
