On Friday, actress Deepika Padukone made her first public appearance since the birth of her daughter Dua, joining singer Diljit Dosanjh on stage during his Dil-Luminati tour concert in Bengaluru. The 38-year-old actress, who welcomed her baby girl with husband Ranveer Singh on September 8, looked radiant as she danced to Diljit’s hit song Lover, wearing a white graphic t-shirt.
Diljit took to social media, sharing a video of Deepika’s surprise appearance, calling her “Queen 👸🏻 @deepikapadukone On DIL-LUMINATI TOUR IN BENGALURU 🫶🏽 Year 24 🪷”. The video begins with Diljit playfully holding up one of Deepika’s self-care brand products, joking that he uses it daily. This humorous moment had fans bursting into laughter before Deepika took the stage and joined in on the fun.

As she joined Diljit, the crowd erupted with excitement, and Diljit couldn’t help but praise her. “Thank you so much, guys. She has done such beautiful work. We have seen her on the big screen. She is so lovely, someone who has made a place for herself in Bollywood on her own. You all should be proud, we are all proud,” Diljit said, acknowledging Deepika’s remarkable journey in Bollywood.

Deepika greeted the audience with a warm “Namaskaram Bengaluru” before dancing along to the upbeat track. During her brief stage appearance, she also taught Diljit a sentence in Kannada, which the singer happily repeated, earning cheers from the enthusiastic crowd. Diljit, clearly thrilled by the experience, expressed his admiration for Deepika, saying, “I have seen her on the big screen. I never thought I would be able to see her from so close. She has made her place in Bollywood all by herself.” Fans were overjoyed to see her glowing, looking every bit the radiant new mom as she returned to the spotlight.
Deepika and Ranveer’s journey to parenthood was announced publicly through a heartfelt Instagram post in February, and since then, Deepika has limited her appearances to focus on her family. This event was her first public outing, and her presence undoubtedly brought a renewed energy to the concert.
