Bollywood and Tollywood Stars Celebrate RCB’s Historic IPL Triumph, Shower Virat Kohli with Praise

After 18 long years of hope, heartbreak, and loyal support, the Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally clinched their first-ever IPL title—and the celebrations weren’t limited to the cricket field. The entertainment industry erupted with congratulatory messages for RCB and team stalwart Virat Kohli, whose emotional reaction captured hearts across the country.

From B-Town to Tollywood, celebrities expressed their joy over RCB’s 2025 IPL victory against the Punjab Kings in what turned out to be a nail-biting finale. Among the first to react was Ajay Devgn, who shared a celebratory poster on Instagram Stories, writing, “Been watching and cheering for years… finally RCB has made history. Congratulations @virat.kohli and the entire team @royalchallengers.bengaluru.”

Ranveer Singh paid tribute by posting a photo of Virat Kohli alongside AB de Villiers, captioning it simply, “This is everything.” He also shared a moving video of an emotional Virat, calling him a “One club player,” emphasizing Kohli’s loyalty to the franchise.

Vicky Kaushal chose the number “18” as a powerful symbol of RCB’s long journey, adding emotional and trophy emojis, and a heartfelt message: “To the man who has given everything to the sport… this was long due! @virat.kohli #18.”

Kartik Aaryan also shared the viral video of Virat tearing up on the field, adding, “Finally Jersey No. 18. After 18 years. Congrats to the GOAT @virat.kohli.”

Arjun Kapoor summed up the moment beautifully in his Instagram post: “Grit, resilience, perseverance, loyalty, faith, belief, and hard work… Everything that happened over 18 years seems worth it for this moment!!!”

The celebrations weren’t confined to Mumbai. South Indian film stars added their voices to the chorus of support. Allu Arjun declared, “Ee sala cup namde! At last! We’ve been waiting for this day for 18 years,” while Vijay Deverakonda congratulated RCB fans, saying, “You have waited with so much energy and passion and love. It’s a happy, happy moment to see.”

Rashmika Mandanna posted a poster of the team and wrote, “It smells like victory in here,” with a heart emoji. Actress Vedhika too shared her excitement with a congratulatory message.

Cricket enthusiast Sai Dharam Tej reflected on the team’s journey, pointing out how RCB had often been mocked, written off, and doubted. “Despite everything, they never gave up. They earned this. Congratulations @RCBTweets… to all the loyal fans, you can proudly say you won,” he wrote.

The cricket fever even reached the sets of the much-anticipated NTRNeel film. Actor NTR Jr. and director Prashanth Neel watched the match live in Hyderabad, and a video of Prashanth celebrating the win quickly went viral.

Adding a cherry on top, Aamir Khan, while on the IPL 2025 commentary panel, was asked who he thought was cricket’s ultimate perfectionist. Without hesitation, he replied, “I used to think it was Sachin Tendulkar. Now, I think it’s Virat Kohli.”

But perhaps the most unforgettable image from the night wasn’t from a celebrity post—it was Virat Kohli himself, trying to hold back tears, hugging his wife Anushka Sharma after achieving what had eluded him for nearly two decades.

For fans, for the team, and for Kohli, the moment was not just about a trophy—it was about resilience, belief, and finally, sweet redemption.
