Expresso: Congratulation Pragyan. It’s really one of those great gifts by god. So responsibility increases. As a father of a baby boy, what is your mindset now, because a long way to go with this new chapter of life.

Pragyan: Yes. It is indeed a long way to go. I ‘m still getting acclimatized with the fact that I’m a father. Honestly speaking I’m taking one day at a time. Trying to support Karabee as much as I can. I’m trying my best to be at the moment. It’s important to get the small things right I have really been blessed with a supportive family and great friends.

Expresso: How you are feeling and have you planned anything for Baby Ojha?Pragyan: I’m feeling on top of the world. Oh, we make plans every now and then. Scrap one plan and rework.

Expresso: Wish you wonderful fatherhood. So what name you have chosen for a new-born baby?

Pragyan: That is a secret. We have a list of names drawn up. Suggestions from friends and family all included. The list is getting shorter now because we have ruled out a few. This is a hot topic at home these days.
Expresso: Apart from this, I want to catch your view on cricket. Pragyan whom do you rate as best batsman in modern-day cricket. Virat Kohli or Steve Smith?

Pragyan: I think it is unfair to compare sportsmen. Everyone has their own style and technique, both of them are fabulous. So I really can’t do any rating.

Expresso: What is your view on MS Dhoni’s retirement?

Pragyan: I’m really not in a place to comment on his retirement.
