The latest release Jigra, featuring Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina, has maintained a consistent pace at the box office. In its first four days, the film accumulated approximately Rs 18.25 crore domestically. On its fifth day, the film collected Rs 1.70 crore across all languages.
According to early estimates from Sacnilk, Jigra earned Rs 4.55 crore on its opening day, coinciding with its first Friday. The weekend boost added another Rs 12 crore to its total. The film registered a modest performance on Monday with Rs 1.65 crore. So far, the film’s worldwide collection stands at a promising Rs 30 crore after five days of release.
Theatre occupancy on October 15, 2024, across Hindi-language shows averaged 10.68%. Morning shows were relatively quiet with 6.40% attendance, while afternoon screenings saw an increase to 10.84%. The film’s popularity gained further momentum in the evening with 10.02% occupancy, peaking at 15.46% during night shows.
Directed by Vasan Bala, Jigra has shown steady progress, industry experts are keen to see if it can sustain the momentum in the coming weeks.
