Alia Bhatt Opens Up About Motherhood and Life With Daughter Raha at Red Sea Film Festival

Alia Bhatt gave fans an intimate glimpse into her life as a mother during her appearance at the Red Sea Film Festival in Jeddah. Speaking at a special session celebrating her cinematic journey, the actress opened up about her three-year-old daughter, Raha, and her growing curiosity about the world around her.

Looking back, Alia reflected on her daughter’s growth: “When I last visited, Raha was one, and now at three, she asks, ‘Where are you, how far away, and what will you bring me?’” The actress also shared that her little girl has developed a keen sense of curiosity and an impressively relaxed, “super chill” attitude toward the paparazzi.

 

In a sweet on-stage moment, Alia sang Raha’s favourite lullaby, showing how motherhood has shifted her daily priorities. She revealed that her daughter now chooses songs depending on her mood, highlighting her growing personality. Alia explained, “Family and my daughter are my top priorities, so I make sure to focus on what counts most.”

Amid these personal revelations, Alia also discussed her upcoming projects. She spoke about Alpha, the first female-led film in the YRF Spy Universe, co-starring Sharvari Wagh and Bobby Deol. Calling it a bold and “risky” venture, she expressed excitement about breaking new ground for female-led action cinema in India.

Alia was also honoured with the Golden Globe Horizon Award at the festival, celebrating her achievements both on-screen and off. Looking ahead, she will be seen in Alpha in April 2026 and is currently shooting for Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love & War, alongside Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. First looks from the project have already captured audience attention, building anticipation for the film’s release.
