Bollywood icon Aamir Khan is back in action, currently shooting for his much-anticipated film Sitaare Zameen Par in Vadodara, Gujarat. The shoot, scheduled from January 21 to 25, has sparked excitement among fans eager to see the superstar return to the silver screen.
Directed by R. S. Prasanna and produced by Aamir Khan alongside Kiran Rao, Sitaare Zameen Par is a sequel to the actor’s 2007 hit Taare Zameen Par. While the original was a heartfelt exploration of childhood struggles, this follow-up promises an inspiring sports drama narrative. Joining Khan in the cast is Genelia Deshmukh, further heightening expectations for the film, which is set for a Christmas release on December 25.
Aamir Khan’s last big-screen appearance was in Laal Singh Chaddha (2022), where he starred opposite Kareena Kapoor Khan. Apart from Sitaare Zameen Par, the actor has an exciting lineup that includes Coolie and Lahore 1947, ensuring a busy year ahead for the star.
With the Vadodara shoot underway, anticipation continues to build for this sequel that blends the charm of the original with the adrenaline of a sports drama, cementing Aamir Khan’s status as one of Bollywood’s most versatile storytellers.
