Navratri 2021: Easy To Cook Vrat Recipe, You Can Make In Under 15 Minutes

Festivities in the air. It is the time, not only to be happy and jovial but also to rejoice in various delicacies from across the country.

Navratri is one of the most celebrated festivals in our country. Some people participate in fast or vrat during Navratri. On this occasion, all you need is a vrat recipe that is tasty, yummy, and easy to make. To make you happy, celebrity chef Ranveer Brar has curated a special dish that can be made in just 15 minutes.

Vrat Ki Chaat

Prep Time: 15 minutes

Cook Time: 10-15 minutes

Total Time 20-25 minutes

Servings: 2

Ingredients – 3-4 medium roasted Sweet Potato – diced (शकरकंदी), 1 medium Apple – diced (सेब), 1 Kiwi – diced (कीवी), ½ Pineapple – diced (अनानास), 1 tbsp Flavourless Oil (फ्लेवरलेस ऑइल), Sendha Namak to taste (सेंधा नमक स्वादानुसार), ½ tsp roasted Cumin Powder (भुना जीरा पाउडर), a pinch Black Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च का पाउडर), 1 tsp Honey (शहद)

For Spicy Honey

2 heaped tbsp Honey (शहद), Sendha Namak to taste (सेंधा नमक स्वादानुसार), ½ tsp roasted Cumin Powder (भुना जीरा पाउडर), ¼ tsp Black Pepper Powder (काली मिर्च पाउडर)

For Serving

4 tbsp Curd (दही), Spicy Honey (स्पाइसी शहद), Pomegranate Pearls (अनार के दाने), fresh Coriander Leaves (ताजा धनिया पत्ता)

Method: In a bowl add roasted sweet potato, apple, kiwi, pineapple, flavorless oil, sendha namak, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder, honey, and mix everything properly until coated well. Now take a wooden skewer and put a dice of apple then sweet potato, kiwi, pineapple and again a dice of apple. Repeat this process with the rest of the fruit on the wooden skewers. Now heat a pan and lightly roast them from all sides until lightly golden then remove and keep aside for further use.

For Spicy Honey

In a bowl add honey, sendha namak, roasted cumin powder, black pepper powder and mix everything properly and keep aside for further use

For Assembling Vrat Ki Chaat

On a serving plate spread the curd in a strip then place the skewers, now drizzle the spicy honey and garnish with pomegranate pearls, coriander leaves. Serve immediately.
