On Friday, the wife of Irrfan, famous writer and producer Sutapa Sikdar took to her social media account and shared an old video of a late actor remembering him. She captioned the video stating, “Three years ago with Irrfan’s team in London shooting. He wasn’t well this particular day but who can tell…. hated playing cards, but tirelessly witnessed reading his book and saw us playing even in the makeup van. I crave for your indulgences Irrfan.”

She further hashtags the post with #shootingwaits, #AngreziMedium, #wivesenjoying #imissyou.

In that video, Irrfan had seen eating something in his vanity while the team played a card. The song Ude Jab Jab Zulfein Teri played in the background. Sutapa then asked him that the song was “Meetha”… Irrfan raises his head and smiles at her.

It’s indeed hard to watch him only in old movies and videos now. His family, friends, and fans grief the loss.
