The lockdown last year and even the break that has been brought upon us again amid the second wave of the pandemic, has given many a chance to introspect and look within at their choices. Radhika Apte has been on a similar journey of self-discovery and credits the pandemic as well as the lockdown experience for making her realize what is missing from her career, and that is joy.
Radhika shares, “There’s always competition, so you need to be more famous or more visible. And then you ask yourself how much of it I really enjoy (or enjoyed). Turns out very little, which I found out during lockdown.”
The ruling queen of OTT has carved out a niche in the audience’s hearts within a short span of time, where her career choices are revered in the industry.
On the work front, Radhika is currently basking in the glory of the success of her web series’ Ok Computer’. The actress also made her debut as a director with the short film, ‘Sleepwalkers’ which won various accolades. She will be next seen in front of the camera in ‘Mrs. Undercover’ as an undercover agent.
