Kenneth Branagh’s Death on the Nile is confirmed for October 23 2020 release. With going to the cinemas looking like a possibility in the near future, this will be one of the first major international pictures to see a global release. The trailer launched virtually amidst fanfare today on August 19th.
Based on Agatha Christie’s novel by the same name the film’s cast includes Gal Gadot, Armie Hammer, Ali Fazal, Letitia Wright, Emma Mackey, Jennifer Saunders, Russell Brand, Dawn French, Rose Leslie, Tom Bateman, Annette Bening, Sophie Okonedo and Branagh himself. Written by Michael Green, the film is slated for October 23.
Fazal shot for the film for three months in the UK last year. On the home turf, the actor has the second season of Mirzapur coming that is expected to drop on Amazon Prime later this year.
